Hi!
My real name is Kent but everyone across the internet knows me as the LaserGhost. It might come to a surprise to most people, but my passions originally had nothing to do with art. That was until I was gifted with my first IPad and Apple Pencil back in 2018. After I downloaded Procreate, the rest was history. My Story
While studying to receive my bachelor's degree, it was very frustrating for my friends and I to not know what events were going on at the university. I complained about the lack of marketing the entire semester before my best friend asked me, "Why don't YOU just do the marketing?" That flipped the metaphoric switch inside me which kickstarted my creative journey. Since my five best friends and I had our own on air show at the university radio station, I figured the station's executive board would be my easiest and best place to start. After my scheduled interview with the executive board in the Spring time of 2019, I was hired as the promotions coordinator with zero photoshop and marketing experience. During the entire summer, I dedicated my time to train and learn all of the aspects for the Adobe Suite and Procreate for the IPad. The following semester, I was approached by the Marketing Manager of the school who was so impressed with my work that he wanted me to work with him on university advertising and promotional projects. I was hired on the spot to be a part of the Student Government Association's marketing team. After I graduated and my time had ended in those two amazing roles, I realized my passion for art needed to be expanded on. Now, I work on personal projects that allow me to explore new creative techniques, push the boundaries of my artistic style, and continuously grow as an artist.
